Groups and Organisations in and around Kirkcudbright
Here we have gathered together details of all the local groups we have details for. If your group is listed, please check that we have all the correct details and sufficient information on the record for your needs. If your organisation is not listed, then please email us so that we can add it in. You will find the necessary email addresses on the contact page. If your group is not actually based locally, but serves the people of the town because you are the only one in the area, we would be pleased to consider listing it here too.

Stewartry CVS work in partnership with a range of agencies to deliver New Deal Streamline for 18-24year olds. This programme helps young people claiming job seekers allowance gain the training and experience they need to move into employment. This is done by finding and placing them in a work setting that they have identified as a possible career path. Placements are available across a wide range of employers in the voluntary, statutory and private sectors. SCVS holds the contract with Job Centre Plus to deliver this service. www.jobcentreplus.gov.uk/JCP/index.html |
